Tech Trek

Tech Trek is a science and math camp designed to develop interest, excitement, and self-confidence in young women who will enter eighth grade in the fall. It features hands-on activities in math, science, and related fields. All sleeping, eating, instructional, and recreational facilities are located on a university campus where camps are held.
Last school year, two of Johnson's own students were selected to attend the week long camp at the University of California Irvine, fully paid through scholarships from the AAUW.
Both Angelica Cayanan and Donna Pham Tran had to be nominated by their teachers, then apply, write an essay, and be interviewed before being selected as winners.
Their experience at UCI included STEM classes, cooking classes, labs, and meeting many new friends while living in the dorms.
The girls were invited to speak about their experiences at a luncheon held by the local AAUW, where they thanked their sponsors for the generous support.
Who will be the next lucky winners to win a scholarship to Tech Trek?
