Washington DC is home to the heart of the American political system. Housing Congress headquarters on Capitol Hill and the American president, Washington DC is overflowing with history, politics and culture. Having been developed solely as the epicenter and core of the federal government, Washington is completely unique from any other part of the United States.
New York is the quintessential representation of the American “melting pot.” Due to its immense influx of immigrants in the 19th and 20th centuries, New York is now populated with people from countries and cultures sprawling the world. Laced with some of the country’s most renowned museums, most popular theater performances and historical monuments, New York has something to offer for every type of class trip.
Every year students from JMS go to Washington DC and New York during Spring Break and have the time of their life. Students learn first hand about the history and culture of our great country. If you are interested, please contact Mr. Owens at firstname.lastname@example.org.
